I love it when it snows! We have a TON of snow right now!!!! The girls have been out in the back yard all afternoon and we’ve had a steady stream of cold, hungry hummingbirds since dawn!
While the girls threw snowballs and made snow angels, I finished their Christmas Kitty pajama/lounge sets. I say “pajama/lounge” because they can easily be worn in public, but they’re so comfy the girls sleep in them. LOL I made the pants a few weeks ago, but I finally got around to making the matching tops this afternoon. The tops turned out SO ADORABLE!!! I used a neat fusable interfacing to give the kitty fabric a little stiffness – this particular interfacing has double-sided stickiness (hot iron sets it) so it made them really simple to put on the shirts. Then to clean up the look, I trimmed them in the shimmery red ric-rac to match their pant cuffs.
If you look really close, Anna is holding a new “Pocket Bear” that I made too. I took the digital Scrappy Bear pattern and shrunk it. :) Anna loves anything mini, so she immediately claimed it as her own. :) Seriously, give her any toy smaller than her hand and she freaks out. :)

Lindsey had her big Christmas choir performance today. The “His Kids” group sang a song of their own and then shared the stage with four older choir groups in singing “What Child is This?” That is one of Lindsey’s all-time favorite Christmas songs. :)
Anna didn’t go to Sunday School and got to sit with the family (in the balcony) to watch Lindsey sing. She loved it and did fantastic. Here are some great photos. The first one of the various choirs doesn’t show quite how many kids were on stage! There was the “His Kids” group, 5-8 year olds. Then there was the “Joy Song” group… then the “Good News Group”… and then finally “Bel Canto” (teens have to audition for that last group).
Lindsey sings very confidently, as you can see from the photos below! She’s not one of those kids who stares at the floor or their feet. LOL She knows the songs really well and gives it her all. :) It’s wonderful that she loves to sing so much! She can’t wait for Anna to join her next year!!!
